Jesper Møller Sørensen
Jesper Møller Sørensen is the Political Director for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He took up this post in August of this year, after serving two years as Denmark's Ambassador to Pakistan. Before his appointment as Ambassador, previous positions have included Head of Department, Trade and Economic Analysis in the Trade Council; Deputy Head of Mission at the Danish Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan; Deputy Director of Strategy & Policy Planning Unit; Minister-Counselor in Washington, D.C.; and Deputy Head of Mission in Ankara. He is the author of a book about Turkey-EU relations and various by-lines in the media on Danish domestic and international affairs. Jesper earned a BA in Political Science from Aarhus University and a masters degree in International Affairs from Copenhagen University.
