DACCNY/DJØF Event - Claus Meyer's visions for food and a better world

  • Great Northern Food Hall Grand Central Terminal, 89E 42nd Street New York, NY 10017 United States (map)

Join us for breakfast and an exclusive behind the scenes-talk with Claus Meyer and Lucas Denton - Manager of the Melting Pot Foundation, at Grand Central Terminal.

New York has been waiting for Claus Meyer - co-founder of restaurant NOMA to make his entrance in the U.S., and finally Restaurant Agern and Great Northern Food Hall have opened at Grand Central.

Trying to show America what the Nordic cuisine contains, Claus Meyer has also started up an American section of his non-profit organization The Melting Pot in Brownsville, one of the poorest neighborhoods in New York.

Claus Meyer and his team have met a lot of challenges on their way, and it has not been an easy journey for the team, the Nordic food, the Great Northern Food Hall, Agern or the Melting Pot.

While enjoying some of Meyer's delicious baked goods you will listen to Claus and Lucas telling about their journey and the challenges they have met on their way.

The event is open to guests of DACCNY members, so please feel free to invite and introduce an American friend to this Danish cuisine event.
