24 teams of trailblazing women from all over the world are lining up to compete for the five-a-side Global Goals Soccer World Cup Trophy and the "Activista of the Year" bragging rights.
Instead of nationality, every team will play for one of the Global Goals.
Fellow Dane and Game of Thrones star, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will play for Goal #13 - Climate Action. What's your goal?
Program: 3:30-4:30pm (EDT): Media Zone 4:30pm: Opening remarks by Danish Minister for Development cooperation, Ms. Ulla Tørnæs, and nomination of the last SDG 5 Dream Team Player by HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. 5:00pm: Games Kick Off 7:45pm: Finals and Closing 8:00-10:00pm: Dinner and Awards (Dinner tickets through RSVP)
