This year we’ll be celebrating at the Scandinavia House on Park Avenue – with a menu that will out-Danish and out-aquavit even the most Danish Christmas table across the pond!
Our Christmas Messenger this year is none other than Rufus Gifford, former U.S. Ambassador to Denmark.
Few non-Danes have been embraced more eagerly or warmly by the Danes than our guest of honor this year. Among his many achievements, he is a former U.S. ambassador to Denmark, senior aide to President Barack Obama, a civic leader, public speaker, and an advocate for clean energy, youth engagement, LGBT rights, and Democratic causes.
