Get ready to set sail at one of the most anticipated events of the Danish social calendar in New York and Connecticut. The Valeur-Jensen Stamford Denmark Race is back, drawing both seasoned sailors and casual racers to the beautiful waters of the Long Island Sound.

Weekend Festivities
Saturday: The Dinner
Kick off the weekend with our traditional pre-race dinner, featuring our esteemed guest of honor, Prince Joachim of Denmark. Enjoy an evening of delicious food, great company, and lively conversation.
Time: 6:00 PM
Price: $150 per person (credit card, cash and if necessary check to Stamford Yacht Club)
Menu Choices: Pork tenderloin, chicken, branzino, or vegetarian

Sunday: The Race & Reggae Lawn Party
The excitement begins at 10:20 AM with the first gun signaling the start of the race. Witness a thrilling competition, including the special Corporate Challenge, where Danish companies will compete in Ideal 18 one-design boats with mixed-experience crews. We currently have five registered companies and are looking for more to join this exciting event.

After the race, join us for the Reggae Lawn Party at Stamford Yacht Club. Enjoy cocktails, Danish beer, and snacks while the race results are tallied. Celebrate the winners during our Awards Ceremony amidst the backdrop of live reggae music and a vibrant atmosphere.
