The 61th Valeur-Jensen Stamford Denmark Race invites both experienced sailors and enthusiastic newcomers to compete on the stunning waters of Long Island Sound. DACC members, whether sailors or not, are also invited to take part in the festivities.

Weekend Festivities

Saturday: The Dinner

Kick off the weekend with our traditional pre-race dinner, featuring our esteemed guest of honor, Helle Meinertz, Consul General of Denmark in New York. Enjoy an evening of delicious food, great company, and lively conversation.

There will be a limited number of spots available for DACC members.

Time: 6:00 PM

Sunday: The Race & Lawn Party
If you are a sailor with access to a boat, you can enter the race by reaching out to Ove Haxthausen at ovehax@hotmail.com.

After the race, head to the Stamford Yacht Club for the Lawn Party. Sip on cocktails, Danish beer, and enjoy delicious snacks while the race results are announced. Celebrate the champions during the Awards Ceremony, in a festive atmosphere.
