ANNUAL WHITSUN LUNCHEON 2019
"PINSEFROKOST"

Restaurant "Aquavit"  June 7, 2019 - 12:00-3:30 PM

We are delighted to announce that Jesper Friis will be our Guest of Honor at our Whitsun Luncheon this year.
Mr. Friis, CEO of Ole & Steen – Lagkagehuset in Denmark – has taken an active part in the Ole & Steen U.S. expansion. They opened their first shop in Manhattan this January near Union Square to universal acclaim, and they recently opened its second Manhattan store on 48th and Lexington. A third store will open its doors at Bryant Park this summer. Go have a look and a taste: Rye bread, breakfast pastries, marshmallow puffs (flødeboller) and their famous “cinnamon socials” are among their many delicious menu items.
We hope that you’ll join us for what promises to be an absolutely spectacular event

We will repeat last year's success, which means that the event will take place at the two-starred Michelin restaurant Aquavit on June 7.

This year you’ll have an even better reason for introducing our Chamber to your colleagues or friends: DACC members have the opportunity to invite one person (a non-member) to the luncheon at the member rate.
Please join us for:

  • Welcome drinks

  • A finely tuned three-course Nordic lunch menu

  • Wine, beer and aquavit (or non-alcoholic alternatives)

  • Coffee

Exchange business experiences - and perhaps a few personal anecdotes - with fellow DACC members and other professionals in the New York area.

Seats are limited - first-come first-served.

We look forward to seeing you then and there!

Restaurant Aquavit opened to immediate success in midtown Manhattan in November 1987. Three decades later, Aquavit continues to be one of New York’s most popular and highly esteemed dining destinations. Aquavit is honored with two stars in The Michelin Guide New York City since 2015 and three stars by the New York Times.

A pioneer on the American dining scene, Aquavit remains the only world-class modern Nordic restaurant in the country. Aquavit was also the first restaurant in New York to house two concepts under one roof: a casual bistro serving hearty, simple fare and a formal dining room offering refined, modern Nordic cuisine. This structure was inspired by Operakällaren, the famous Stockholm restaurant, whose legendary owner, Tore Wretman, was one of Aquavit’s original partners.
