Join DACC for a Saturday visit to one of the Northeast's most remarkable destinations. Nestled among 80 acres of meadows, woodlands, and wetlands in New Canaan, Connecticut, Grace Farms is a place where architecture, nature, art, and social impact come together.
Designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architects SANAA, the award-winning River building seems to disappear into the landscape, inviting visitors to slow down, explore, and experience the changing beauty of the season.
During our visit, we will enjoy a guided tour of the property, learn about Grace Farms' mission and humanitarian work, and hear how the organization brings together nature, arts, justice, community, and faith to create positive change. From its internationally recognized architecture to its pioneering Design for Freedom initiative, Grace Farms has become a destination for thoughtful conversations and meaningful collaboration.
After the guided tour, we can stay for coffee or lunch, available for purchase at Grace Farms, and enjoy the beautiful fall scenery while exploring the grounds together.
Getting there is easy. Grace Farms can be reached by train from New York City to New Canaan, followed by a short shuttle bus or Uber ride to the property. If you prefer to drive, the journey takes approximately 1–1½ hours from Manhattan, making it an easy day trip to enjoy the best of New England's autumn scenery.
Families are warmly welcome.
