The Danish-American Chamber of Commerce is excited to invite you to our next Young Professionals (YP) speaker event with TV 2’s new USA correspondent, Lotte Meljhede.

Mejlhede is a seasoned journalist with a strong background in international security policy. After serving as a correspondent in Brussels for nearly eight years and subsequently specializing in European affairs for the past two years at TV 2, she is gearing up for an exciting transition.

From fall 2023, Mejlhede will be taking on the role of TV 2's USA correspondent, based in Washington D.C. Her responsibilities will include extensive coverage of the upcoming US Presidential election, a pivotal event that holds not only national but also global significance.

Lotte Mejlhede expressed her anticipation for this new journey, emphasizing the unique perspective she will gain by shifting her focus from Europe to the United States, where the ever-evolving political landscape is poised to shape the world's future.

Her insights and reporting will undoubtedly be invaluable in deciphering the complexities of American politics for viewers both at home and abroad.

On September 19th, Lotte Mejlhede will provide a European perspective on the American political landscape, shedding light on the concerns and implications of this uncertain and momentous time.
