Welcome Back: Danish/American Connections at the South Street Seaport
Kick off the fall season with DACC and reconnect with the Danish-American business community at one of New York’s most unique waterfront settings.
Join fellow members, friends and professionals from across the Danish-American network for an evening designed around new connections, familiar faces and good conversation - with a little New York history along the way.
In collaboration with the South Street Seaport Museum and the Consulate General of Denmark in New York, we’ll begin by exploring the historic vessels in smaller groups, offering an informal way to meet and mingle while discovering how shipping, trade, immigration and the waterfront helped shape New York. We’ll also hear the story of Danish shipping entrepreneur Jakob Isbrandtsen, one of the museum’s founders.
We’ll then come together for drinks, light eats and networking under the open sky aboard the magnificent 1885 Tall Ship Wavertree.
Come to reconnect after the summer, expand your network, and start the fall season with the DACC community.
General Admission: $30 + fee
