The meeting provides a unique opportunity to get an update on issues like Danish citizenship (retention and re-acquisition), Danish state pension (folkepension), and family reunification (moving to Denmark). You can also learn how your children can retain and improve their skills in Danish language.

Join the DACC Team at the Sømandskirke Soccer Cup

Come join us for a fun day of football and community at the annual Sømandskirke Soccer Cup on May 30 in Brooklyn Bridge Park (Pier 2 this year). The tournament features 12 teams playing short, fast-paced matches in a friendly and lively atmosphere. Our President Allan Krogsgaard will be leading the DACC team as captain - and everyone and all genders are welcome to join.

The day begins at 7:45 AM, followed by warm-up and kickoff at 8:00 AM. The tournament concludes around noon, and the celebration continues at the Danish Seamen’s Church with hotdogs, soft drinks, and a raffle with great prizes.

The team is full - but we We also warmly encourage cheerleaders and supporters to come along. ⚽🇩🇰

Barrel  Strength Talent  Founder  and  highly  acclaimed  whiskey  specialist  Lia  Niskanen  will  conduct  a personally  curated  tasting  of four Danish  whiskeys  at  the venue  Carl  Hansen  &  Sons  flagship location  in  New  York  City  on  57th  street. 

During  the  tasting,  Lia  will  give  an  engaging  and  educational  talk  on  the  history  and production process behind the whiskeys and the coalition movement of Danish distillers to support the category. Lia will share insider tips into nosing and tasting whiskey like a pro.
